Our Neighbourhood Sgt's were out on proactive patrol when they stopped an e-scooter being ridden by two individuals.
Due to the offences identified, both males were detained and the e-scooter has been seized and will be destroyed.
During the course of the incident, our Sgt's sustained minor injuries while carrying out their duties. Thankfully, these injuries are not serious.
We will continue to take action against the illegal use of e-scooters and any behaviour that puts members of the public at risk.
